Waltham watch from Hudson Super Six

A lovely, high quality Waltham watch taken form a Hudson Super Six vintage car.

Very similar to a Waltham pocket watch, it has a lever escapement and pivot jewels throughout.  This, though, this has 2 mainsprings leading on to independent main wheels, both of which mesh with the centre wheel pinion.

Though mass produced these watches were made to a high standard and are excellent timepieces.

During stripping and overhauling this, it became apparent that its main problem was that the main wheel had become loose on its arbour and needed to be securely riveted back on.
